Risotto with seafood - a classic Italian dish, which has recently gained popularity in many countries around the world. We have already introduced you to recipes of risotto with salmon and risotto with mushrooms, and this time we will open for you homemade recipe risotto with seafood, with the addition of dry white wine and Parmesan cheese. In addition to shrimp and mussels, you can add a little squid. Risotto is prepared on the basis of vegetable broth, which can be cooked from such products as carrots, onions, stalks of celery, parsley or dill, as well as garlic, bay leaf and black pepper peas. After the preparation of the broth, it must be filtered and used further recipe risotto with seafood step by step with photos. You can also use chicken broth. Risotto with vegetables turns out to be original, very delicate and fragrant, especially if you like seafood.

Ingredients for preparation of risotto with seafood

Vegetable broth 750 ml
Rice 300 g
Dry white wine 150g
Shrimp 250 grams
Mussels 250 grams
parmesan cheese 75 grams
Bulb onions 1 PC
Garlic 2 prongs
Olive oil 50 grams
Butter 30 grams

Step-by-step cooking risotto with seafood with a photo

  1. Onions cut into small cubes.
  2. Preheat the frying pan, pour in the vegetable oil, add a piece of butter and fry in it chopped onions until golden.

  7. Broth should be added in portions as the evaporation. In the event that the broth is already over, and the rice you see is not cooked, add just a little boiling water.
  8. Approximately 5-6 minutes before the end of cooking, add seafood, salt and pepper to taste. Stir well all the ingredients.
  9. At the end, when everything is ready, add a piece of butter and grated Parmesan cheese. Remove from heat, and let the risotto with seafood at home is consumed for about 5 minutes.
  10. Add the shredded greens to the risotto and mix.
