  • butter - 150 grams;
  • potato starch - 120 grams;
  • sugar - 150 grams;
  • Vanilla sugar - 8 grams (1 sachet);
  • eggs - 4 pieces;
  • rum or cognac - 2 tablespoons;
  • flour for baking - 120 grams;
  • raisins - 150 grams;
  • powdered sugar.

  1. Butter before preparing the cake must be removed from the refrigerator beforehand so that it becomes soft.
  2. In the bowl for the mixer spread the butter, add the sugar and start whipping into a homogeneous mass.
  3. Mix the butter and sugar at high speed. To them we will add vanilla sugar. If you do not have such a flavor in your house, it does not matter, you can use lemon zest or whatever you like.
  4. Add eggs to the mixer bowl. But not all at once, but one at a time. We added an egg, beat it up to homogeneity, then the second - and so on.
  5. When the mass becomes homogeneous, add rum or cognac to it. We continue to mix further.
  6. Add raisins, which should be washed and dried before kneading the dough. If you do not like raisins, you can do without it.
  7. Flour sift and add to the dough. Starch is poured out after it. Instead of potato starch, you can take corn.
  8. If you do not have flour for baking, then take the usual flour and add to it 0.5 teaspoons of baking powder.
  9. Mass mix, but do it carefully, so that the dough does not opal.
  10. Form for baking cake lubricate with butter. We put the dough into it and put it in the oven, which must be heated up to 175 degrees. The cake will be baked for about an hour.
  11. Wait for the baked product to be checked with a wooden stick. The dough does not stick: it means the cupcake is ready. We take it out of the oven, let it cool and sprinkle sugar powder on top.
